Facilitated by hosting partner Asia Society Hong Kong Center, a registered not-for-profit organisation with a legacy of working with multiple stakeholders in the community, the campaign has a strong foundation. To ensure Art Power HK remains neutral and welcoming to all, the initiative relies on supporters from the public and private sectors to fund the campaign, rather than a sponsorship program. It is important to note that supporters of Art Power HK do not receive sponsorship or additional rights; your generous contributions in the spirit of community will serve to champion the arts in Hong Kong.
About the campaignArt Power HK puts a spotlight on the arts in Hong Kong following the cancellation of activities during Hong Kong’s March arts month. Uniting partners from across the arts ecosystem, Art Power HK showcases that the arts in Hong Kong are open, active and resilient, and supports the arts community by taking their activations online. Showcasing live talks, exhibitions, studio tours and much more, the initiative congregates and amplifies arts initiatives that are taking place throughout the city. Art Power HK will give Hong Kong art lovers and global supporters access to the arts programming that they would usually engage with during this season – just in a new format. Art Power HK also seeks to align partners for in-person activations to ensure that Hong Kong does not miss its arts moment in 2020.
Use of fundsFunds raised will go to cover the costs of the campaign, including digital infrastructure; content creation and curation; social media engagement; community engagement; design, print and production; project management; and talks programs. We look to work with Hong Kong companies within our creative industries to deliver the campaign. The more funds we can generate, the further we can enhance and amplify the campaign.
