Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC)

Who We Are

Located in Shek Kip Mei, Kowloon, JCCAC is a factory-turned multidisciplinary artist village and arts centre. Opened in 2008, JCCAC is dedicated to meet the arts community’s need for affordable arts studio and display facilities, nurture young creative talents for Hong Kong and provide a relaxed environment for the public to experience arts and culture.

JCCAC is a self-financed registered charity and Hong Kong Baptist University's subsidiary. Its regular public events include the annual JCCAC Festival, quarterly Handicraft Fair, rooftop film screenings and public guided tours. Visitors may gain an overview of current programmes from the JCCAC website, the monthly published programme guide or by subscribing to JCCAC e-news.

What We Do

Spread over 200,000 square feet across nine storeys, this vertical artist village is the operation base for around 140 artists and cultural organisations of a wide array of art forms, including visual arts, applied arts, performing arts, as well as various services and artisanal crafts such as guqin manufacturing, puppetry, and arts for disability, to name a few. JCCAC dedicates about a quarter of its studio units to nurture emerging artists.
